Meditation for Peace

There are two types of fool:

If we are determined enough, we can decide to ‘keep away’ from foolish people.

1. External fool

If we are determined enough, we can decide to ‘keep away’ from foolish people. This is particularly difficult when they are close family members or friends or when they are our fellow colleagues.

However, for the sake of our own future life, we have to find ways in which to manage this difficult situation as appropriately as we can.

This is our self when we think, act or speak negatively.

2. Internal fool

This is our self when we think, act or speak negatively. We need to be aware of our own thoughts, actions, speech and the impact they have on our self and others.

There is a little voice in our head, which is constantly telling us to take the easy way out or avoid taking responsibility for our actions.

We need to be aware so that we can make the required changes and work hard not to continue being foolish.

Although it may be easy for us to avoid getting involved with fools in the outside world, it is much harder to overcome the influence of the fool inside our head.
